Wholesale price of Russian salmon in 2019, by type and region
The two most popular salmon types in Russia, pink and chum salmon, were more expensive in the Central federal district than in the Far Eastern district of the country, where they are caught. A kilogram of chum salmon cost 250 Russian rubles in Central Russia, which was almost 20 percent higher than in the Far East.
