According to a survey for experts on Southeast Asia from the various industries and in academia in Singapore, 66.1 percent of those surveyed said that ASEAN should increase humanitarian assistance to the Rohingya in camps located outside of Myanmar. The Rakhine State crisis saw hundreds of thousands of Rohingya people being displaced and driven out of Myanmar, with the majority seeking refuge in neighboring Bangladesh.
