Despite the economic crisis in Argentina, the consumption of smartphones in the "entry" and "low" ranges decreased in 2018, favoring the purchase of smartphones from higher quality segments. In 2018, mobile phones sales in the medium segment made up 36 percent of the total value sold, compared to 28 percent in 2017.
