New cancer case number among males in China 2020, by type
Around 539 thousand new lung cancer cases were diagnosed among the Chinese male population in 2020, accounting for almost 22 percent of all 2.5 million new cancer cases among men. In that year, other prevalent types of new cancer cases among Chinese males included stomach, colorectum, liver, and oesophagus, which was similar to the national level.
