Here is a chart illustrating the purchases of football players from abroad to the French Ligue 1 during the 2015/2016, 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 seasons. It shows that during the 2017/2018 season, purchases of players coming from foreign football leagues to the Ligue 1 were estimated at a negative value of around 561 million euros.
