Reasons to purchase cultured meat in Belgium 2019
As of 2019, a sizable share of consumers surveyed in Belgium indicated that they would be interested in buying cultured meat because it would allow them to eat meat without animal suffering. Close to a third of consumers surveyed indicated that reducing animal suffering was a main factor in their interest in cultured meat, while a further 17 percent of respondents were interested in cultured meat because of its reduced impact on the environment.
