Change in average cost of attendance at public four year colleges U.S. 2001-2016
Out of all 50 states, Louisiana saw the highest percent change in the average cost of tuition since 2001 at public 4-year colleges in 2016, at 102 percent. Kentucky had the second highest percent change in cost of tuition, at a 99 percent increase from 2001 levels.
