Weekly work hours needed to pay for 4-year college by state U.S. 2016
In 2016, low-income students who attended a 4-year college in New Hampshire would have had to work 41.4 hours a week at a minimum wage job in order to pay for college. This is in comparison to Washington state low-income students, who would only have had to work 11.6 hours per week.
