Mexico: number of private junior high schools 2014-2018
In the academic year 2017/2018, the number of private junior high schools in Mexico amounted to 5.4 thousand, up from nearly 5.2 thousand a year before. The enrollment on lower secondary education in Mexico is mandatory. Students attending a junior high school* in the country are usually between 12 and 16 years of age.
