Number of financial technology start-ups worldwide 2020, by industry
Globally, the number of financial service start-ups reached almost 6.5 thousand as of early July 2020. Financial technology firms, also popularly known as fintech companies have seen the highest number of start-ups funded worldwide with just under three thousand.
