El Salvador: foreign debt as share of GDP 2000-2018

El Salvador's total central government debt in 2018 reached 47.6 percent of the country's gross domestic product (GDP). In 2018, the public debt that El Salvador's central government owed to foreign creditors equaled 33.2 percent of the country's GDP.
