Usage of different media for engaging in political news in Denmark 2019
In 2019, most Danes found that national media and trade or specialist journals were important media in terms of political engagement. In detail, more than 70 percent of the respondents found that national media both covered important political issues and provided a feeling of belong to society. In comparison, trade and specialist journals seemed to both give the respondents broader perspectives on poltical issues as well as engaging them in politics to a larger extent. Furthermore, 69.3 percent of the people found that trade journals provided political debates of their interests. During this period, magazines and social media were the least important media in terms of engaging the Danish population politically.
