In 2020, offshore production represented nearly 97 percent of Brazil's crude oil output, amounting to more than 1.04 billion barrels. In comparison to 2014, the country's annual offshore production has increased by nearly 37 percent. In contrast, Brazil's onshore crude production dropped by more than 43 percent in the same period.
