When asked how much they spent on consumer electronics in 2018, approximately 45 percent of couples with children said that they spent the same amount of money as in the previous years, while only 15.6 percent spent more. The trend was quite similar for couples without children. The only significant difference was a larger increase in the number of respondents who has spent more in electronics, roughly 5 percent more.
