When asked about the reasons for shopping online, the answers were very different according to the geographical area in which respondents used to live. In the North-west of Italy, approximately 37 percent of the respondents admitted that they shop online because prices are convenient. On the contrary, in the North-east one in four respondents declared that they shop online because they find products they would not find otherwise.
