Colombia: automotive import and export value 2010-2022
The Colombian automotive manufacturing industry's imports have exceeded its exports at least since 2010. In 2022, imports of motor vehicles and its engines in the South American country amounted to 4.18 billion U.S. dollars, whereas the exported value totaled nearly 470 million dollars. Automotive trade in Colombia has increased in value in 2022 compared to the previous year as the country slowly recovers from the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
