Respondents who think teenage smoking is acceptable Indonesia 2019 by age group
According to a survey conducted in Indonesia in 2019, the majority of respondents across all age groups did not view teenage smoking as acceptable. Even so, the majority of regular smokers in Indonesia started smoking in while still in their teens. While cigarette smoking is decreasing all over the world, Indonesia seems to be bucking this trend. Indonesia has one of the highest smoking rates in the world and is one of the biggest producers of tobacco worldwide.
