In 2018, 49 percent of consumers who purchased CBD products consumed cannabis at least daily in the United States, whereas 36 percent of all cannabis consumers consumed cannabis at the same rate. Fifteen and 30 percent of consumers who purchased CBD and all cannabis consumers, respectively, consumed cannabis a few times a year.
