Netherlands: share of people in favor of EU enlargement 2009-2018

Between 2009 and 2018, the share of people in the Netherlands who were in favor of further EU expansion decreased. In 2009, close to 30 percent of people surveyed indicated that they thought it was a good idea to further increase the number of EU member states. In 2018, this figure had decreased to just below 20 percent.
