Medical homes certified by the region of Wallonia 2018

Medical homes are part of Belgium's health system. Such structures give access to continuous medical care in Wallonia. In 2018, 92 medical homes were operating in the region, 78 of them with certification.

In 2018, 14 uncertified medical homes were operating in the region. For a medical house to acquire this certification, it must meet certain standards. These requirements relate to their structure, management, functions, location, network, and pricing.

By law, the designation "medical home" is not regulated. Yet, medical houses can be characterized by three aspects: financing methods, federal affiliations, and accreditation from the region.
