As of 2022, the United Kingdom had 291 rotary-wing aircraft in the Royal Air Force and other branches of it's armed forces, the most numerous of which was the Chinook, a large transport helicopter. In this year the UK had 34 Wildcat AH Mk1 helicopters, the second most-common helicopter in its armed forces.
