Japan: most outstanding national art and culture 2022

According to a survey conducted in Japan in January 2023, around 27.6 percent of respondents in Japan believed that anime and manga should be promoted to the world as the country's main cultural assets. Despite the comparatively low participation rate, most respondents considered traditional music and traditional entertainment as important parts of Japan's cultural heritage.
