At the end of fiscal year 2019, Ashok Leyland sold around two thousand spare parts. The company was the second largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles in India and the fourth largest bus manufacturer worldwide. It is the flagship company of the Hinduja Group, an Indian conglomerate based in Mumbai that deals with a range of activities including trade, motor vehicles, banking, health care and foundries.
