Number of rating assessments for property rates in Hong Kong April 2022, by region
As of April 1st of 2022, there were over one million rating assessments for property rates in New Territories, accounting for 50.7 percent of all assessment units in Hong Kong. Rates in Hong Kong is a kind of property tax, which is charged to the owners of rentable properties and calculated on the valuation of the Rating and Valuation Department of Hong Kong's government.
