Dominican Republic: religion affiliation share 2020, by type

Roman Catholic is the most common religion affiliation in the Dominican Republic. In a survey carried out in 2020, 52.5 percent of Dominican respondents claimed to be of catholic faith, whereas the second most chosen religion was Evangelism, with over 21 percent of the people interviewed taking into account all its branches. 21.6 percent of respondents answered they didn't profess any religion at all, while only 0.4 percent defined themselves as atheists.
