What high school students wish for their personal future Japan 2019, by gender
According to a survey conducted in 2019 on the future dreams of high school students, 54.3 percent of girls found it important to turn something they like into their job. For both genders, having an interesting job was the most common wish. Big discrepancies can be seen in the wishes to lead a stable everyday life and to build a warm family, which were both far less pronounced in male students.
