Corruption in El Salvador: people's experiences with bribery 2021

In a survey carried out in 2021, about five percent of respondents in El Salvador said that they had been asked or had to pay a bribe in different interactions with public authorities (police officers and/or government employees). Among Latin American countries, El Salvador ranked at the bottom of bribery victimization that year.
