The United States was the main country of origin for Brazil's pharmaceutical product imports in 2020, with a value of over 1.3 billion U.S. dollars. Germany ranked second, as the origin for around 1.03 billion dollars worth of pharmaceutical products imported to the South American country. That year, Brazil's imports in the pharmaceutical market amounted to over seven billion U.S. dollars.
