Global tall building completion height by select city 2019

There were 15 tall buildings (200 meters and over) completed in Shenzhen, China in 2019, with a combined height of 3,539 meters. China completed by far the most tall buildings in the world, dwarfing other countries like the United States and United Arab Emirates, which completed fewer skyscrapers in comparison.
