Power generation capacity in India FY 1992-2022

In financial year 2022, the power generation capacity of India rose to nearly 400 gigawatts. Thereby, the growth in generation capacity from the previous years continues. Between 1992 and 2022, the electricity capacity in the country experienced a five-fold increase.
