China's mobile social media landscape 2019

China's social media landscape is becoming more diversified. Tencent's WeChat still remains as the most popular mobile social media platform with 73.7 percent of respondents saying they used it frequently in a survey conducted in October 2019. Instant messenger Momo, question and answering site Zhihu, and dating app Tantan are the new social media platforms making significant success among Chinese mobile netizens.
