Capital expenditure of NITI Aayog India 2019 by sector
At the end of fiscal year 2019, the capital expenditure of NITI Aayog on public works and general investments across India was around 840 billion Indian rupees. Also called the National Institution for Transforming India, it is a 'think tank' of the Indian government, providing directional as well as policy inputs for the government. The prime minister is the chairman of its governing council, presided by chief ministers of states and lieutenant governors of union territories.
