Share of people interested in volunteering at the 2020 Summer Olympics as of 2018
According to a survey conducted in November 2018, close to 52 percent of respondents in Japan were not at all interested in volunteering at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic or Paralympic Games. Approximately 72 percent of respondents in total did not show much interest in volunteer activities at the Summer Olympics or Paralympics held in Tokyo in 2020.
