Personal care and hygiene expenditure trend in Italy 2018, by macro-region

During 2018, a survey was conducted among Italian families on personal care and hygiene products' expenditure trends. According to data, 67.07 percent of the households in the North-West and 73.46 percent of those in the North-East said that they purchased and spent the same as the year before. By contrast, more than 40 percent of the families living in the South asserted that they purchased less in 2018.
