Time in advance of booking holiday travel in the UK 2019, by age group

When asked how far in advance they booked their last main holiday, the majority of participants from the United Kingdom (UK) said they booked over a month in advance. According to the 2019 survey, the largest proportion of respondents booking less than a month ahead, at 18 percent, were aged over 65. In contrast, 25 to 34 year olds represented the largest share of people booking more than 12 months in advance (14 percent).
