Around 44 percent of the opinion leaders and prominent journalists in Bolivia who participated in a survey conducted in June and July of 2019 said that corruption was the most important problem in the South American country. The second main issue, according to 16 percent of these experts, was insecurity, criminality and drug trafficking.
