Supplementary notes

* Methodology: Forbes used Yandex Wordstat service to analyze search queries for job vacancies in companies from RBC 500 ranking from September 1, 2018 to August 31, 2019. For industry holdings, the numbers of search queries for largest member companies were summed. A list of 150 companies with the highest number of vacancy queries was created.

Forbes used the survey data from conducted on October 3-4, 2019 asking what the term "best employer" meant for Russians and created ranking metrics based on these impressions. Nine indicators were chosen with the following weights:
Salary (25%), labor conditions (19%), social benefits (15%), internal training (12%), creation of new workplaces by a company (9%), development of infrastructure in cities where it is located (7%), brand recognition (6%), environmental care (4%), and charity (3%).

150 companies from the list were asked to fill out a questionnaire. When no data were provided, open sources were used to get the necessary information. When no salary data were disclosed, the study took the Federal Statistics Service's average salary value for the corresponding economic sector. When no data were found in open sources, the minimum value was assigned for an indicator.

The 50 employers with the highest rating points were included in the ranking. The maximum number of rating points is 100. The top 20 companies are presented in the statistic.
