According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in Vietnam, as of February 2024, 58 percent of the respondents stated that they chose plant-based food because it was healthier. The same survey also revealed that around 86 percent of Vietnamese respondents had consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products.
