According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in February 2024 in Thailand, 46 percent of respondents who were between 45 and 54 years old stated that they did not consume plant-based food because it is difficult to find in their area. Meanwhile, 38 percent of participants aged between 25 and 34 years old responded that plant-based alternatives cost more than the original.
