Spending intentions among bicycle consumers in the UK 2019
In a 2019 survey of prospective bicycle consumers, 34 percent of respondents indicate that they would intend to spend over 500 British pounds on a new bicycle, where 10 percent of respondents indicating that they would intend to spend over 1000 British pounds. Those intending to spend 300 British pounds or less formed the largest proportion with 39 percent of respondents identifying with this segmentation group. The proportion of respondents within each segmentation group increases with each reduction of intended expeniture ranges.
