In 2022, over 60 percent of leading e-pharmacies in Russia had a public social media page on VK, or Vkontakte, while over one third managed an Odnoklassniki (Ok.ru) account. Furthermore, more than 30 percent owned a Telegram channel.

The report includes online stores specializing primarily in the sale of medicines. It does not include online stores specializing in the sale of glasses and lenses, medical equipment, dietary supplements and other non-drug health products, nor does it take into account the sales of drugs and other health products by multi-category online retailers."
