In 2018, the average daily turnover value of exchange traded funds (ETF) on China's Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) amounted to 6.8 billion yuan, surpassed by Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE). Since the first ETF product appeared in China's investment market in 2004, the ETF market in China has developed slowly but firmly with great potential.
