Taiwan: frequency of consuming plant-based food alternatives by age 2021

According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in November 2021, around four percent of 16 to 24 year-old respondents in Taiwan who knew what plant-based food products were said they only consumed plant-based food products. Meanwhile, roughly seven percent of respondents above 54 years confirmed the same.

Among a total of 12,039 survey respondents, 11,422 respondents said they knew what plant-based alternative food products were. Only those were asked about their consumption frequency.
