Amount of waste disposal in the ocean South Korea 2008-2021
In 2021, around 166 thousand cubic meters of waste was disposed into the ocean in South Korea. While this is an increase compared to the previous year, it is still showing a great decrease over the decade. That year, the average daily volume of municipal waste generation per person in South Korea was 1.18 kilograms.
