In March 2021, Russian users 12 to 24 years old spent approximately one quarter of their overall time on the internet via desktop computers on watching videos. To compare, the population aged 35 years and older dedicated 18 percent of their time to that activity. While social networks accounted for 18 percent of the young audience's online time spent via desktop devices, they occupied a 39 percent share of their time spent on mobile apps.
