Distribution of residents in nursing homes by level of dependenc France 2015, by type
This statistic shows the distribution of residents in residential care for dependent elderly people (EHPAD) according to their level of dependency in France in 2015, by category of establishment. It shows that as of December 31, 2015, the proportion of residents in GIR 1, the least autonomous group, was approximately 19 percent in public hospitals. In total, nearly 37 percent of residents in long-term care homes were in GIR 2.
