The United Kingdom was the leading country as of August 2019 by the number of per capita footwear usage with an average of 7.4 pairs of shoes in use per person. The United States was listed in second place with a difference of only 0.2 pairs. In Russia, only 2.4 pairs of shoes per capita were recorded on average.
