In 2021, the volume of treated used water was 608.5 million cubic meters. This was a slight increase from the previous year where 608.1 million cubic meters of water was treated. In Singapore, used water is collected through a network of sewers that leads to the water reclamation plants. Currently, there are four water reclamation plants serving a population of over five million.
