Online media use as main news source by age Russia 2022

According to a survey from October 2022, 39 percent of young media consumers between 18 and 24 years old in Russia used online media publications as their main news source. The share of online news readers in the country decreased with age. Approximately one in five Russians aged above 55 received news mainly from websites of newspapers and information portals at the time of the survey.
