Number of registered bicycles in South Korea 2022, by local government
According to a report on the state of bicycle roads in South Korea in 2022, the bicycle registration system was run by 11 local governments and there were almost 66 thousand registered bicycles. This was down from around 73 thousand in the preceding year. Gwangmyeong-si (city) in Gyeonggi province, with around 37.7 thousand had more than half of those bicycles registered.
